good morning walid
it has been 35 years since we spoke last.
I can see that you are keeping up with the malouf legacy:intellectual,educated,international and a real explorer of human nature and soul.your cousin massoud is our ambassador right now.your foundation is impressive,yet do you want to enter the quagmire of lebanese politics.you are a puritan and they are whores.how can blasphemy and blessing come out of the same tongue.how can fresh and salty water come out of the same source.you are fighting goliath,what are your stones
david? walid ,I would love to help you,tell me how?
best regards cousin.

My voting area is Aley, but I would like to help your candidacy whatever I can. I am originally from Bemahrain next to Ain-Zahalta. Beside talking to my friends about you, please let me know how can I help.
Thank you;

I just watched your interview with LBC , Indeed I was very impressed for the first time I can see a courage man who aggresivly call the peaple to elect on their own and not letting any leader to do so simply by asking to vote " as it is " with full respect to whom called for this , I highly encourage you to keep going with your strugle for a real free lebanese , I would love to be your friend as much as I am your supportor.
I sugest to form a political " Tayyar " that would synbol your political visions regardless the result of this upcoming elections.
I am a sunie from trablous that lives in michigan USA
Respectively yours , walid mourad

Good luck,
From a guy who tryed to make a difference in Lebanon. I left Lebanon the same year you did to the States. Came back in 96 to make some difference. My ennemies did not hurt me as much as those who I considered my friends.
That s what I want to tell you from experience.
Watch out from those who are closest to you.
As a US goverment official, I dont know what you are doing in Lebanon!!!
Good luck anyway, you ll need it, after they strip you of all you got, but hopefully not your dignity!!!
